Home Interiors

In "my next life",

I would like to be an interior designer---

so I can have pretties like this in my home

without it looking like a hot-ass-mess.

This is seriously my dream library...I WILL have this one day!!!!

Such a great idea!!!!!!

Or, in my next life, may I be blessed with lots of cash so I can hire someone to make my home look that way!

I'm taking hubs to Lowe's or Home Depot ASAP to buy new light fixtures for our house and some PAINT!!! I need to paint my kitchen cabinets!

So, the question of the day is:

What are some small things to do in your home that make a BIG difference?

I adore that library! I would love to be surrounded my so many books!

Some small things to do is add crown molding-my husband added it to our guest bedroom and it made such a difference!

We put wood floors in our living room and new tile in our kitchen and bathroom that made a HUGE difference. Painting over the salmon color that was in the living room was a must and we changed out all the gold door knobs for pewter ones :) HUGE difference!!!

I would love to be an interior designer too! But in this life, it is software marketer for me hehe. We are house hunting right now and I seriously stay up at night planning what I am going to do in each room, colors to paint, pinterest crafts to do...it's borderline obsessive!

Paint is the biggest thing and I think drapes can make a huge difference too!

I actually just brought my pictures I had in my bedroom out to put on the mantle for a new look and am so glad I did. Moving things around from room to room is a great way (for me) to make it look new and refreshed without spending a cent.

I LOVE that grey striped wall in the 1st picture.

I die for all those gorgeous home interior design pictures. Makes me WANT WANT WANT so bad!
One small thing my hubby and I just did in our house... we had gold/brass door knobs that I hated. I found an idea on Pintrest to paint them with Rustoleum Bronze metallic oil based spray paint. We just completed project and they give the house a whole new feel!!!
