Maternity clothes? I've realized that maternity tops are the MOST comfortable way to go, nowadays. I've been 100% maternity pants for a few weeks now.
Stretch marks? Nothing new to report on this one! Woot!
Sleep: Sleeping very soundly!!!
Best moment this week: Setting up the crib, the glider (all by myself, I might add) and the chest of drawers! All we have to do now in the nursery is hang up some things on the wall and fill up his bookshelf!
Miss Anything? Absolutely nothing.
Movement: Last night I felt him have the hiccups!!!! It was the most precious thing!!!!
Food cravings: Really nothing at the moment.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Eating after 8pm and not taking a Tums.
Gender: Baby boy
Labor Signs: Nothing and it better stay that way for about 10 more weeks or so!
Belly Button in or out? In!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: I'm starting to feel a bit worried about delivery. I assume this is normal?
Looking forward to: Finishing his nursery 100%
What does Alphamom say about week 28 of pregnancy??
Your Baby:
- Continues to get a longer and fatter by the day. Shocking, I know. His or her weight has actually doubled in the past month alone, which is why you’ve probably gotten comments about “popping” recently.
- Weight is around 2.5 pounds right now, which (if you’re like me, gazing in horror and your inside-out belly button and spidery stretch marks) might sound a little frightening, since the baby clearly needs to gain a LOT MORE WEIGHT before he or she is fully cooked, and oh my God, how in the world is anything bigger going to fit in there?
You:
- Are either feeling like this pregnancy will NEVER end, or that 12 more weeks is simply not nearly enough time to prepare. Or you might feel both ways, changing your mind one minute to the next.
- Must move furniture and fold clothes and organize the linen closet and replace the bathroom vanity and finally get rid of that sooty stain on the marble fireplace and yes, DARLING, these are all essential tasks that MUST be completed before the baby gets here, DO NOT ARGUE WITH ME, NOW GO HANG UP SOME SHELVES.
My thoughts: Wow. Am I really having a baby in December?!?! It's almost the middle of October, people! Where did time go??? Luckily, I feel pretty prepared and I know I'll feel even more confident after my baby shower in a few weeks. I am on the hunt now for a pretty dress to wear for my shower...I was thinking some type of sweater dress with some cute riding boots and a fun chunky necklace...now to just go shopping and find these things! I am starting to find myself stressing a teeny bit about the delivery, like I previously mentioned. I guess I am starting to notice how big my stomach is...and how the baby will be...and how on this green Earth am I supposed to get this kid out again?! I never felt before now that I needed a birthing class...but now I think I will look into one...just to scare me more help me prepare for Baby Apple's big day.
Have a lovely Thursday!!!

You look GREAT!! I also loved feeling our little girl get hiccups, it was so sweet!
Do not stress or be worried about the birth - it is something that is almost out of your control and you can never be 100% prepared for but you will be fine and do so well - it's a mother's instinct!
x

I'm only 14 weeks pregnant and I'm stressed about delivery! haha!
You look great, and although I don't have a baby of my own, I am sure that being nervous about delivery is totally the norm! You'll be so excited for his arrival though that everything else will fall to the wayside, I think.
I hope he's born on December 1st. Then we can share a birthday together! :))
You are SO ridiculously adorable! I can't believe the due date is so soon!
You look great! I am thinking of the same thing for my shower!!! I saw some cute sweater dresses on Gap's website.
I am so glad I found your blog! I've been looking for first time mommy blogs.
I'm 30 weeks as of yesterday with our first, a baby girl named Savannah. Will enjoy reading about your progress.
