Baby Apple's Nursery Reveal

Hubs and I spent the ENTIRE weekend putting the finishing touches on Baby Apple's nursery and I have to tell you...I am in LOVE with it all. We are so happy with how everything turned out!!!

The main theme of his nursery is Navy/Green with an alligator here and there...a few sports items are scattered throughout. The walls are painted with "Pecan" by Sherwin Williams.

All the baby furniture is in the color of Espresso.

All baby furniture (except the bookshelf and glider) are from Babies R Us.

This is the view of his room from the doorway.

When you walk into the nursery, this antique bookshelf sits on the left side next to the closet. I will eventually fill this up with children's books and family photos, but for now I have a few of my old childhood toys resting on it along with his baby book that I started to slowly fill out.

These are the details on the bookshelf. The top pic is a mini-Texans football helmet, a team picture with his name on it, and a Texan beanie baby. The middle pic is my childhood book The Velveteen Rabbit along with the velveteen rabbit that came with it. I've had these since I was a little girl. The bottom left picture is a baseball piggy bank. The bottom middle picture is of a baby red-roper boot. The boot was my father's when he was a little boy. My sister has it's mate. The last picture on the bottom are my childhood Dr. Seuss books that I just can't wait to pass along to my son.

Immediately next to the bookshelf is this Coldplay lyric from "Yellow"...one of my favorite songs. You can find this free printable here.

Here is the crib! I love the bedding so so much. All the bedding is from Pottery Barn Baby.

Aren't the sheets just adorable?? And that Pound Puppy was mine when I was a little girl, too.

I have his initials right above the bed. I hand-painted them myself!! I bought the letters from Hobby Lobby along with the paint. They are painted in Green/Navy/White. Sorry you can't see them!!! Hubs and I made the decision that we were not going to publish his name on the blog for privacy reasons.

The left wall next to the crib has one of my favorite nursery rhymes framed...Baa Baa Black Sheep! Love this print!! You can get it here for free!

To the right of the crib is this adorable ABC print I found online somewhere. Unfortunately, I can't find it right now (if I do, I will post an update!) but you can find some similar here! Also for free!

To the right of the crib on the wall by the door, we have the baby's changing table/chest-of-drawers. I don't have the changing pad yet, but it will eventually go on the right side along with some sort of baskey or tray to hold diaper creams/wipes/powders.

These adorable prints can be found on Etsy! I love them!

This mother goose is mine from when I was little...she played music and read books...I don't think she works anymore, but I just couldn't part with her. I think she looks great considering she's about 25 years old! The blue lamp behind Mother Goose was a BARGAIN! We bought it at Ashley Furniture for $9.00 on clearance!

Here is the glider that I just love...it is SO COMFORTABLE! I got it at Target (thank you family for this, by the way!) and I got the throw over at Marshall's.

I am so relieved to have his room pretty much complete. Now we can relax and just enjoy the rest of the time not worrying about finishing up the nursery! It feels good to know that it is finished with just a bit over 2 months to go.

Hope you love his room as much as I do! I find myself going in here all the time, sitting on the glider and day-dreaming. It's crazy...I just can't believe I'll have a little one in here so soon.

Hope you all have a lovely Monday! Don't forget to enter my giveaway here!

awww his little room is so adorable, my favorite prints are the "see you later alligator" set! We have that exact same glider in my son Sawyer's nursery and it was so comfortable, the chair arms are just high enough to rest your arm on with a baby in them and that ottoman is a god-send when you're too sleepy to sit up straight ;)

MOTHER GOOSE!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Michelle, I grew up with the exact same one, and I loved free afternoons when I could just pop in one of the cassette tapes and follow along in my book! And she sings!

I know this is borderline ridiculous, but I am so happy to see "my" Mother Goose! :)

The rest of the nursery is wonderful too. ;)
