| My husband's beautiful family at our Christmas on the 15th |
Most of my family lives about 2 hours away from me, so it will just be me, the husband, and Ace this year. We already had Christmas with my husband's family last weekend, and I won't have Christmas with my dad's side or my mom's side until January sometime after the baby is here. So weird. I just can't wrap my brain around it.
Luckily, my mom lives here in Houston and will be here Christmas Day, so she will be coming over and I will be making some homemade chili and cornbread and we will just hang out.
Then, on Wednesday at 10pm....we check in to the hospital. For real this time (unless by some little miracle he decides to come on his own sooner...which I fully hope happens). And we start the process of bringing Baby Apple home...hopefully he will be born on the 27th sometime and we are all healthy and happy!
I want to wish each of you the very warmest of holiday wishes....I wish for you peace, love, and eternal happiness. I wish for you the kind of happiness that warms your soul and carries peace in your heart. I wish you lots of new memories with family and friends and I wish the most blessed of holidays to you and yours.

This is my first time to be away from family for Christmas too!! (Im being induced on the 26th! I've enjoyed following your journey along side mine!!) I'm just trying to think of the positives- like sleeping in and quality time with hubs!
I hope you have an amazing Christmas!! It will definitely be one to remember. We have Christmas with my mom's family on New Years Day so you aren't the only one!

I'm sorry that you won't be able to spend Christmas with your family. That has to be tough. At least you will be able to celebrate in January! And you'll be able to celebrate a beautiful baby boy!!!
