What he has done in the amazing week he's been here:
-lifts his head and turns to follow voices! Especially daddy's!
-he can roll over! He is really not a big fan of tummy time I guess!
-he is eating at least 3 ozs per feeding! I'm pumping and he drinks strictly breast milk. We had some "issues" breast feeding. I am very happy to still be able to feed him this way. Plus, now I know exactly how much he's eating per feeding.
-speaking of feeding, he has gained one whole pound since leaving the hospital. The doctor said we have a very healthy and happy baby. With big feet.
-he smiles, but usually that means he's pooping or he's about to take a good poop! :)
-he sleeps during the day and loves to party all night! And by party I mean poop through diapers AND pajamas, coo till the cows come home, hiccup like crazy, and snuggle like there is no tomorrow. Night is my favorite time with him because that's when he is the most awake. It's amazing how similar his patterns are now to how they were when he was in my belly.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Tomorrow he will sport his Texans gear and cheer them on in hopes of a playoff win! Go Texans!!!

So precious!!! :)
SO cute!!!
What a cutie!!!
So cute! As for breastfeeding, I had issues too it took us 6 weeks before we finally had a solid latch. So good for you for not given up!
Look at the both of you! Just precious! :)
He is so sweet! My SIL did the same thing with breastfeeding. My nephew was bottle-fed breakmilk until he was almost a year old. It worked for them. Plus she was headed back to school as well.
He's so cute.

He is so cute! Congrats again!!!
He's adorable! Congratulations Michelle!
He is just the sweetest thing!! :)
Being a mommy looks great on you! Congrats... AGAIN...for the millionth time. Haha. He's such a cutie!
I'm so glad your little man is doing well! He is such a cutie pie! And I am so happy you are able to give him breast milk....I'm a huge fan of breastfeeding and have learned that breastfeeding is a lot easier than pumping (and pumping gets OLD fast!)....maybe try again in a week or so. I found that H was a much better breastfeeder (and it was easier) once he got to be around 3 weeks old.
SO precious & wow, able to do soo much!!
Can you believe how fast time is already going? He will be 5 months before you know it! Seriously though it is the most exhausting, stressful, amazing, wonderful thing! You are doing great mama!
So precious!
Such a sweet post. I love hearing about how he's doing!
he is such a big sweet boy! can't believe it's been a week already!
Rolling over at ONE WEEK? I'd call that a champion baby. Yep.
I love him! I agree with Bree on the latch thing - sometimes they take a while to get it down. Love ya!
So are you exclusively pumping? How is it going? Was thinking of doing this and would love to hear your thoughts.
Congrats on the baby! He's adorable!
