From One Mom to Another: Schue Love

Happy Thursday and welcome to the 4th edition of From One Mom to Another!!! (Click here to see the other posts!)

When I thought about starting this series, one mother came to mind right away that I knew I had to contact. I have followed her pregnancy journey and now love reading about raising one of the most adorable little boys I have ever seen!! Her name is Natasha and she is just one of those bloggers that you immediately connect with. When I was pregnant, her blog was one of my go-tos to read about what she experienced while pregnant. Now that Baby Apple is here, I frequently read her blog to see what I can expect with my son when he is her son's age!

Without further adieu, I warmly welcome Natasha from Schue Love!!!!!

Hello!  I'm Natasha from Schue Love and mama to Ethan, our 7 month old son.  I blog all about life as a new mama and sometimes sprinkle in some recipe, decor, and fashion posts too!  :)

Something you wish you knew before having the baby: That dressing postpartum is WAY harder than maternity dressing.  I think the hardest part is that the change hits all at once...I didn't have a transition period...unlike being pregnant, which evolved over 9+ months!  My body was foreign and everything had to be nursing approved.  Next time, I'll be much more prepared.

Most surprising mommy moment: How little sleep we really need to survive!  I can't remember the last time I had 8 solid hours of uninterrupted sleep.  But now, it all seems so normal.  What's more scary, is how easy it is to sleep through crying now...yikes!

How has motherhood impacted your life all around? Without question, Ethan has become my whole world.  When he looks me right in the eyes and smiles, there is nothing better.  It sounds cliche, but it's true what they say about having your heart living outside of your body.  It's the most surreal thing ever.

Best piece of advice: I have found that with babies and child-rearing, there is never a shortage of advice.  With that being said, my best piece of advice is to follow your instinct!  When it comes to your child, you really do know best.  ;)

Anything else you would like to share?  I am so grateful for this community of moms that blogging has introduced me to.  Everyone is so supportive and has helped me feel like I can do this!  ;)  A huge congrats especially to Michelle!  So glad blogging has brought us together!  And believe me when I say, it keeps getting better and better!

It's a relief to see someone say how hard it is to dress post partum! I swear finding maternity friendly non-maternity clothes was easier than now finding post-partum body friendly wear!

Amen to the sleep thing! Even though my son has slept through the night since he was 3 months...I still wake up every few hours wanting to check on him!!!!!
